Just You and I
Just You and I
Please take notice of the stone used for the head of the man. It is an extinct genus of tabulate coral characterized by polygonal closely packed corallites (giving it the common name "honeycomb coral"). The walls between corallites are pierced by pores known as mural pores which allowed the transfer of nutrients between polyps. Even though this coral is known to have been extinct for thousands of years, we still find these gorgeous pieces of history in Lake Huron.
The stone used for the woman looks like she is wearing a perfect coat with a fur ruff.
These are two stones that, through heat, time and friction became one. Isn't that also the power of love?
