Many of our fondest childhood memories happened in the kitchen. It was the place where we were in awe of grandma’s baking. Where we learned to stir things, taste things. It’s also the place where homework is done and bills get paid.  It’s where life plays out in its most honest forms. It’s where families gather to bond and create rich memories.   The stone used for the mom's head was the inspiration for this setting.  The softness of her profile, peaking through the sculptured bonnet made this stone a perfect piece to set the feeling of wisdom and a life well-lived. The curiosity of the little girl leaning over a wooden table reminds us of much simpler times and it’s accentuated by her embroidered sleeve. Please note this is a large piece, best suited for a 16' by 20' frame.
