“The most precious jewels you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children.”

This tender piece celebrates the beautiful, protective connection between a mother and her child.

The mother's hairstyle is formed from a fossil whose natural shape reminded me of a graceful flipped hairstyle, while her protective arm is made from honeycomb coral. Her baby rests safely in her embrace, with an Aspilites fossil forming the little body and a naturally marked stone creating a wonderfully unique head and hair.

The flowing dress is a beautiful shell from Mexico, chosen for its warm colours and delicate texture.

Every material was chosen not only for what it looks like, but for the way nature had already shaped it into part of their story.
